[Spoiler] Character Profile (#1001) + Writer Comments
[PREVIOUS LIFE]
Number: #1001 (real name unknown)
Occupation: Detective
Likes: Sleep, coffee, spicy foods
Dislikes: Socialize, politics, sweet foods
Age of death: 29 years old (NOTE: in the path of reincarnation, they assumed the age of their prime)
Cause of death: Shot to death during investigations of a crime syndicate
Brief history:
He lived in a big city that was bustling with people and had a high criminal rate. Dealing with so many cases made him tired and sleepy. He couldn’t put down his work before he was done. Sometimes work also didn’t allow him to sleep. Sometimes, he went to an aquarium alone to clear his mind. Didn’t like fish that much, though. Just found them interesting. His senior warned him not to get involved too deeply in a certain case involving a high-profile person and a crime syndicate, but he insisted and it ultimately led to his demise.

[NEXT LIFE]
Name: Python Novel
Age : 24
World setting: Modern world
Occupation: Graduate student majoring in computer science (especially in cyber security)
Likes: Coffee, games (especially chess and SRPG), spicy foods
Dislikes: Places with a lot of people (or just going outside in general), sweet foods
Brief history:
He had been a smart one since he was a kid but he was no genius. His mother was a university professor in computer science and his father was a programmer for a game company, so he also gained an interest in computers. He wanted to pursue a career in the field of academics just like his mother. He entered the competition for computers back in his school days. Won the silver medal in his first competition and gold in his second.
His sleeping schedule was a mess. Coffee and energy drinks were his best friends. Sometimes, his hyperfixation in his research could result in him not sleeping for two or three days and he would go on hibernation after that. Just like 1001, he was aloof but had learned to behave because his parents and even his professor often nagged him about his attitude. Other than research, he also liked playing games that required thinking like chess and SRPG. He also played mobile gacha games and sometimes made guides to optimize builds and even made a whole spreadsheet about damage calculation. Actually wore glasses.

[Writer's Comments]
Hello, this is Altila, the writer! Sorry, it took a bit too long to post his profile because I forgot.
Let's talk about his number first. If 3333 was from a secret code that I happened to stumble upon, the origin of 1001's number was just like I wrote in the game. The coffee day! Because he loves coffee and the triple-shot espresso is his staple drink. About his name... I'm sorry but his name is actually some kind of a joke. The game is a visual NOVEL made with Ren'py which used PYTHON so his name is Python Novel. Yes, I'm sorry. But maybe if he isn't reincarnated to the modern world, maybe to the past, his name would be Fortran or Pascal.
If we're talking about his face... he is 100% my taste. If I gave Atlas my personal bias in personality and color, Python got my personal bias in looks. I like smart-looking wavy/curly anime bois and I also like sleepy-looking anime bois. He got them all. He actually wore glasses because I like men but the panda eyes wouldn't be visible in the CG and I was worried that people would mistake him for 1079 because 1079 wore a monocle. After some thought, I decided to remove the glasses in the CG. This is his draft, by the way:
In his first draft, he wasn't as aloof and cold as this one. Instead, he was just a sleepy tech nerd. I wrote it in the postmortem, but designing his character was SUPER DUPER hard thanks to 1079/Orion having a lot of similarities and I wanted to dodge them all to make them more diverse. To do this, I combined the stereotypes of the people in my field of expertise + my own bad traits. Yes, he was designed with no cute things or positive traits other than his brain and his face (and voice because the VA's voice is very handsome, I cannot). And he is a bit.. too real. That might be a mistake on my part. Romance should have sprinkles of sugar, milk, and honey instead of pure black coffee. My bad!
Oh, right. If you think 1001/Python is a lazy person, you're wrong. He is not a lazy person, just tired and sleepy. His hobby is sleeping because he needs sleep. Sleeping is a luxury for him (especially for 1001).
Personality-wise, I think he is the least popular LI among the three. Everyone said they loved 1079 the most and 3333 was cute but this guy? I have to thank everyone who likes him despite everything. By the way, as a joke, I often called him the middle child. But he IS the middle child age-wise (Orion > Python > Atlas), character finalization-wise (Orion > Python > Atlas), and world-setting-wise (Atlas > Python > Orion).
By the way, some might already have seen this, but I drew this rkgk of 1001's past life, Mr. Sleepy Detective:

That's it about #1001 and Python! Whether 1079 will have a profile or not depends on the writer.
